Windows Internet Explorer 9 is the ninth version of the browser developed by Microsoft for Windows operating systems. It was announced at the PDC (Professional Developer Conference) 2009 (17 to 19 November 2009). It was released a first public version (called platform preview) March 16, 2010 at the MIX (Annual Conference Microsoft) 2010 (15 to 17 March 2010). Microsoft makes available at http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/ with the promise to update about every two months thanks to the contribution of the community.
